My all-time favorite is when, to defeat the sun creatures that are setting Metropolis ablaze, Aquaman opens up the Metropolis Reservoir, dousing the flame creatures and -- oops -- flooding the city.
And I wouldn't get my full nerd credit if I didn't point out that that clip is from the 60s Filmation cartoons rather than the HB Superfriends show.
