(And keep in mind that I can recognize that other of my childhood favorites, like the DIC Mario cartoons were in fact total garbage.)Jeffrey Grayhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16647672231061739759noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6956070.post-17979278846899135402008-10-27T00:32:00.000-04:002008-10-27T00:32:00.000-04:00The Taz-Mania orchestra contained eight pieces, no...The Taz-Mania orchestra contained eight pieces, not five. This show should be on DVD, like all the others from that era.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6956070.post-66174105098635033022008-10-25T17:33:00.000-04:002008-10-25T17:33:00.000-04:00Taz's dad resembling Bing Crosby was quite deliber...Taz's dad resembling Bing Crosby was quite deliberate, right down to the orange juice - Crosby had been the pitchman for Minute Maid Orange Juice (he had been one of the original investors in the company before it was sold to Coca-Cola). This was further reinforced by an appearance by Taz's uncle in one episode - a golfer who sounded very much like Bob Hope.

The show was never that great. I much preferred "Animaniacs" or even "Tiny Toons." That said, it did have its moments.Brent McKeehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14883838112004433045noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6956070.post-52662927348138940862008-10-25T12:02:00.000-04:002008-10-25T12:02:00.000-04:00Taz-Mania was never a big favorite of mine. And unlike TTA and Animaniacs, I don't remember a single plotline from the show years later.

Great opening theme, though.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6956070.post-76941572060818196652008-10-24T15:39:00.000-04:002008-10-24T15:39:00.000-04:00Thad,I'll give you that the show wasn't very good....Thad,

I'll give you that the show wasn't very good. But "the sky's always yellow in rain or shine" is right in the theme song. So it's not like they were trying to hide that.Anthony Strandhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15170406011301084809noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6956070.post-43157859984075041962008-10-24T14:28:00.000-04:002008-10-24T14:28:00.000-04:00This show is solid shit. Greg Duffell considers his 'directing' job on this series one of the worst experiences of his career.Thadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04443425643665474645noreply@blogger.com
