I thought that maybe they had lost a reel when they put it out on video (hey, stranger things have happened!).
Oh, and I agree with you about how hard it is to find information and memorabilia from this movie, and I know the latter is out there somewhere.
I know for a fact that the "Vincent the Vulture" prop comics survived into the sixties because I saw them on a newsstand in the un-aired B&W pilot for "Get Smart" on the recently released DVD collection.
And speaking of DVD, recently viewed "Artists and Models" on disc and noticed something I never had on tape... the fact that publisher Mr. Murdock is wearing a Bat Lady tie in one scene and then a Zuba the Magnificent smoking jacket in another! Now there's something I would like to get my hands on!
Anyway, thanks again for all your research on this fun flick because you've got at least one fan here who will be eternally grateful.Jeff Taylornoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6956070.post-67657048688176869402008-12-19T20:16:00.000-05:002008-12-19T20:16:00.000-05:00I love this movie.
